The Power of Google Business Profile and Lead Generation

One of Phelps Digital's clients is a brand new business looking to build their marine construction brand from the ground up and establish a digital presence. Starting from scratch could seem overwhelming, but getting relevant lead generation opportunities in place as soon as possible to help convert users browsing into actual sales was the biggest priority.

SOLUTION

Since building a landing page or website takes more planning and time to develop, Phelps turned to setting up a Google Business Profile for the client first. An optimized GBP would allow the client an extremely low cost way to enter the digital space and get in front of the users making these high intent searches on Google. The Phelps team assisted with this set up and optimization to verify the profile along with implementing the correct tracking parameters to confirm the source of any leads.

RESULTS

In less than 24 hours after the Google Business Profile was verified and being actively displayed in the search results, our client had already received 2 leads. These were the first two digital leads that they had ever received and they were extremely low-funnel. This first step wouldn't have been possible without a free Google Business Profile and proper tracking.
